Borussia Dortmund have secured their first win of the Bundesliga season, thanks to goals from Christian Pulisic and Erling Haaland.

The match was played at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, and the hosts had the better of the opening stages, creating several chances but failing to find the back of the net.

However, it was Borussia Dortmund who eventually took control, with Pulisic setting up Haaland for his goal in the 59th minute.

The German striker then added a second just three minutes later, as he headed home a corner from Kai Havertz.

Hertha BSC were unable to find an equaliser, despite having several opportunities to do so, and the result means that Dortmund now sit top of the table, two points ahead of second-placed RB Leipzig.

The victory was a significant one for Borussia Dortmund, who have struggled for consistency this season. However, with their talented forwards in good form, they will be confident of continuing their strong start to the campaign.
